Chinese Horoscopes
The Chinese Zodiac has thousands of years
and is much older than the occidental
zodiac. Therefore Chinese horoscopes are
different from ordinary horoscopes.
One of the main differences between the
occidental zodiac and the Chinese zodiac is
that the latter is based on a lunar cycle of
twelve years while the occidental is based
on twelve months.
Chinese astrologers believe that every
twelve years a group of individuals is born
with similar characteristics and those
characteristics are related to the twelve
animals representing the Chinese zodiac.
Signs in Chinese Horoscopes:
The legend says that Buda picked the
animals to represent each sign. Buda was
just about to die when he invited all the
animals to come and just these twelve
animals came. In return Buda gave them the
honor of represent the twelve signs of the
zodiac.
The twelve animals are:
- RAT
- OX
- TIGER
- RABBIT
- DRAGON
- SNAKE
- HORSE
- GOAT
- MONKEY
- ROOSTER
- DOG
- PIG
If we compare the occidental zodiac with
the Chinese zodiac we can find similar
things such as the fact of being able to
determine an individual’s personality or
even guiding our daily routine. We can also
trust or doubt their authenticity, but at
the same time have fun trying to figure out
what the destiny has to offer to us. People
would read it at the beginning of the year
or on a daily or monthly basis.
If you are not satisfied with the results
that the occidental zodiac shows you, you
have the alternative of Chinese astrology or
maybe you can even take a look at both and
try to find the answer to your questions.
These two kinds of zodiac might not be
100% exact but at least you can have a
guideline to fantasize about the predictions
or just to take advice on what could happen
depending on what they are predicting.
